Ekvn Yefolecv

The Ekvn-Yefolecv Ecovillage is the home of Maskoke people who recently purchased their ancestral homeland, in what is now known as the state of Alabama, before the Maskoke were driven out in the Trail of Tears. AmbitioUS is providing a one-year general operating support grant to support the development of the Ecovillage: housing, regenerative agriculture farming, ceremonial lodge, and the Vlahoke (uh-lah-hoe-ghee) that will be an earned-income generating, off-the-grid education, meeting, and retreat space. The development of this village demonstrates the possibilities for localized, culturally owned, and revitalizing economies.
