Fashion that Works Production is a cooperative based in New York City, that provides ethical garment production services for local fashion businesses in New York City and across the U.S. The vision of Fashion that Works is to use the cooperative model to provide equitable employment and ownership opportunities for immigrant women creatives from low-income backgrounds. Through the 2020 Grant & Loan Fund for Early-Stage Arts, Creative, and Cultural Cooperatives, AmbitioUS is providing Fashion that Works with a one-year general operating support grant and technical assistance from Uptima Entrepreneur Cooperative.
