Platform cooperatives are a growing sector of the cooperative and digital economies and are important for sharing and distributing profit and ownership. There is currently a lack of understanding of platform cooperatives and how they function, inhibiting investors from providing needed capital to expand the field. AmbitioUS is providing one-time project grant support for the Platform Cooperativism Consortium to develop and implement a survey of platform cooperatives and create an interactive map of the field.
