Sustainable Economies Law Center

Sustainable Economies Law Center (SELC) is a nonprofit law center that specializes in cooperative development and innovating sources of new capital that will benefit underserved communities. AmbitioUS is providing one-year general support and project support for Next Egg. This grant will support SELC’s cooperative development efforts that, in this COVID-19 economic recession, is focusing on preventing displacement of people of color and supporting efforts to help communities of color own property collectively, and project support for Next Egg, which is building a new market for individual retirement accounts to be invested locally and not through Wall Street.
